Why do the Municipal Elections matter? What are some of the topics of debate? How are student issues being addressed? What is the effect of Bill 62 on municipal politics?

On Friday, Nov. 3rd, SSMU External Affairs, the Centre for Interdisciplinary Research on Montreal (CIRM), and the Québec Studies Program are hosting a panel on the Municipal Elections, featuring various prominent political scientists and critics from around the city, and moderated by the SSMU VP External Affairs, Connor Spencer.

Before the panel, from 5:30 to 6 pm, the Montreal Urban Ecology Centre will be conducting a short info session on what you need to know in order to be able to vote on the 5th!
Panel will be from 6 to 7h30 and the following journalists will participate. Connor Spencer will host the panel.
