The Lydon Lab is looking for male and female participants between the ages of 18 and 35 to participate in an in-lab study examining how various communication tools (i.e., online, video, instant messaging) impact impression formation. on personality, linguistic and perceptual fluency and how they transfer to social interactions.

You will complete a short online survey (10-15 min long) before coming to the lab. At the lab, you will be asked to provide some demographic information (age, gender, first language, etc), fill out a few personality measures, and to complete some language tasks and computer tasks. You will then interact with another participant who is scheduled at the same session.

The study should take approximately 90 minutes. You will be compensated with $17 upon completion of the study.
