Participants are asked to listen to short metronome sequences and perform a motor task, where they will tap along to stimuli. Furthermore, physiological brain activity will be recorded through electroencephalography (EEG). We will apply an EEG cap with gel to your head and must be able to access your scalp. The BRAMS facilities have an area that you can wash gel from your hair after you participate. Participants will be compensated $30 for their time.

It is important to note that we are seeking healthy participants between the ages of 18 to 35 who have normal hearing and normal or corrected-to-normal vision. The total duration of the study is approximately 2 hours.

The experiment will take place at BRAMS, the International Laboratory for Brain, Music and Sound Research at Université de Montréal (Address: 1430 Mont-Royal Blvd, Outremont, QC H2V 4P3)
