Timbre Perception Study: looking for participants

The Music Perception Cognition Lab at McGill is looking for musicians (who have completed at least the 100  level courses in a BMus program) to participate in a  music listening  experiment. 

The experiment will take about  60 minutes  and involves filling out questionnaires and listening to and rating  excerpts of music. You will be compensated $10  for your time. 

Participants should be without hearing problems and have no more than 2 years of formal training on the piano.

This work has been certified by the review ethics board and is supervised by Prof. Stephen McAdams of the Schulich School of Music, McGill University. No risks are associated with this research. Your confidentiality and anonymity for serving in this experiment will be protected.
