Want to have your art seen?

The Café Conversations project is looking for illustrations to be used in promoting its events. To this end we are asking students to submit their work to be used as background for the posters.
Café Conversations is a series of mediated public discussions on a variety of topics of interest with the goal of bringing McGill students and local community members together.

The evenings will provide a venue for students and local community members to meet new people in an amiable and thought provoking environment. The conversations will be taking place at Presse Café on Milton and Parc throughout the second semester and will engage themes related to the community and our place within it. The discussions will be supported by two people: an expert on the subject of discussion and a facilitator who will help the flow of conversation and maintain a friendly atmosphere.

Examples of discussion themes:

-Interaction of the University and community
-Access to education
-Technology and citizenship
To submit your work or to ask questions, email: external@ssmu.mcgill.ca
Deadline for submission will be Wednesday December 2nd at 5pm.
The chosen illustration will receive a $50 prize.

Requirements:

The artistic submission could be a painting or a drawing (as long as they are scanned) or a graphic design. It should be in colour and should be submitted in jpeg with a 300 dpi resolution.
