The Class Mosaics for 2024-2025 include students graduating in Fall 2024 and Winter 2025. Photo sessions are available from mid-September 2024 through May 2025. Please note that the waiting list for the Winter semester is longer, so we recommend booking your session several months in advance during the Fall.
For students graduating in Fall 2024:
We recommend that you have your photos taken before December 13, 2024. Alternatively, you can book a session in the Winter semester before May 9, 2025, to ensure your inclusion in the 2024-2025 class mosaic in time for summer convocation.
For students graduating in Winter 2025:
To appear in the 2024-2025 class mosaic for summer convocation, your photo must be taken before May 9, 2025. Please note that if your photo is taken after this date, it will not be included in the class mosaic for summer convocation—no exceptions.
For students graduating in Summer 2025:
Please be aware that there are no photo sessions during the summer of 2025. You can book your session before May 9, 2025, and notify the studio via email at info@voltaic.ca to be included in the 2025-2026 class mosaic. Alternatively, you may have your photo taken during Fall 2025, with dates available starting the second week of September 2025.
1. Please visit the Voltaic website to secure your spot on the Class Mosaic.
Note: The online booking system displays availability only for the four weeks ahead. The studio opens more sessions for the following weeks as soon as those sessions are filled.
2. 24 hours before your session, you will receive the registration form by email to fill out. Complete it before you arrive at the studio and save your QR code!
3. Once at the studio, show us your registration card.
A sitting fee of $11.31 + taxes must be paid when reserving the session via the online interface.
At the end of the session, it will be possible to pre-order the 4 poses in digital form to be available for download within 10 working days.

Reporting an issue with Voltaic Studio

1. When can I start having my photo taken?
Answer: Photo sessions are open from September 2024 to June 2025. Please note that the deadline to appear in the class mosaic 2024-2025 is May 9, 2025.
2. Where can I find the price list?
Answer: The sitting fee is $13 (taxes included). The prices for 2024-2025 can be found on this link.
3. I am not in Montreal to have my photo taken. Is there any solution to be included in the class mosaic?
Answer: Yes, please contact the studio at info@voltaic.ca to discuss options. Additional fees may apply.
4. I want to book my session for the following month, but no slots are available.
Answer: Please make sure to book your session ahead of time. Sessions are open only one month in advance and can be hard to find as we approach the May 9, 2025 deadline.
5. When will the class mosaics be ready?
Answer: The digital versions of the class mosaics 2024-2025 will be published on June 2, 2025, on the SSMU website (ssmu.ca). Print mosaics will be available for purchase on July 14, 2025. Orders are available by request only, and additional costs apply.
6. What happens if there is a mistake on the class mosaic?
Answer: This form allows you to submit corrections from June 1, 2025, to July 4, 2025. Please contact the studio at info@voltaic.ca if you have any questions.
7. What happens if I miss the May 9, 2025 deadline?
Answer: If you have your picture taken before June 2025, it will be available on the final mosaic on July 14, 2025.
8. Can I take a photo of my graduation with my friends?
Answer: Yes, you can book a group picture by contacting the studio at info@voltaic.ca. Additional costs will apply:
2 people: Free
3 people: 10$ + tx per picture
4 people: 20$ + tx per picture
5 people 30$ + tx per picture
Digital mosaics
This digital version is available for FREE as part of the sitting fee. They will be available on this page on the first day of convocation.
Printed mosaics
The print size of the mosaic is 11×14.
