In recognition of the long tradition of excellence and commitment exhibited by science students, the Science Undergraduate Society (SUS) is proud to create the SUS Achievement and Leadership Awards. These awards are designed to acknowledge students who have demonstrated significant extra-curricular involvement, leadership skills, and/or selfless contribution.
Three (3) scholarships, valued at two thousand dollars ($2000) each, will be awarded. To be eligible, a candidate must be an SUS member (B.Sc. or B.A.&Sc. student) who will have completed twenty-four (24) credits during the current academic year and be studying full-time at McGill in an undergraduate program in the 2010-2011 academic year (i.e. not graduating in 2010).
For consideration, a letter (maximum 2 pages, 12 font, single space) outlining why you or a nominated candidate is deserving of the award must be emailed to mcgillsus@gmail.com. Deadline for submissions is February 28th, 2010.
