The University Centre has new composting bins!

McGill is working toward becoming a zero-waste campus by 2035, and the University Centre is on board!

We’ve adopted McGill’s 4-stream, colour-coded sorting system to make waste disposal simple:
🟡 Recyclables: Clean plastic, glass & metal
🔵 Paper & Cardboard: Clean, dry paper products
🟤 Compost: Food scraps, napkins, paper towels & certified compostables
⚫ Landfill: Items that can’t be recycled or composted

Check the McGill Waste Sorting Guide for full details.

Next time you visit, sort smart and dispose properly!
