Fill the Stadium this Friday!

This year’s annual Fill the Stadium game is this Friday September 30 in Molson Stadium!  Pregame party at 6:00 pm featuring a Red Bull DJ and $2 refreshment tent. First Aid Courses

Need a certification for a summer job? Interested in health care? Want something new for your CV?

The McGill Student Emergency Response Team (M-SERT) offers Standard First Aid with CPR-C courses throughout the year.

This term, we are running courses on:

October 15 & 22

November 13 & 20

MPLS and KAPLAN Present: Law Forum!

Details: We are proud to announce our various guests for the evening. Representatives from various universities will be presenting their law programs along with answering any questions you may acquire. A meet and greet period will begin and conclude the evening giving you the opportunity to meet and speak with all of our guests.

MPLS membership and/or pre registering on www.kaplan.com grants you FREE entrance to the evening. General public fee of $5.00.

STEPS MAGAZINE – McGill’s quarterly ‘literary magazine’ – is back for the fall and onward. We want your poems, stories, and color/B&W plastic e-mailable art for our first issue of 2011-12. Guidelines always flexible for savants, but to be reasonable, stories are best considered when under 2000 words. & if you want feedback on your piece, ask for it – I’m feeling chatty this year. McGill’s 190th Anniversary Cupcake Giveaway

McGill is celebrating its 190th anniversary, but really, what’s a birthday without cupcakes? So the Campus Community Committee is marking this important McGill milestone by giving away delicious free cupcakes to students that we meet on Tuesday, October 11, starting at noon.

If you’re on the Downtown Campus, be sure to drop by Thomson House or the University Centre to grab a frosted freebie, while students at the Macdonald Campus can pick up a sweet little treat in the lobby of the Macdonald-Stewart Building.

Goodies are first-come, first-served, so drop by early!

On Thursday, September 29th, 2011, you’ll get a chance to meet your SSMU council and executives, accompanied with wine and cheese. It’s a great chance to get your ideas heard, express any concerns and learn about new plans for the upcoming year!

Annual Right to Play Spin-a-Thon this Thursday

Right to Play McGill is holding its 6th annual Spin-a-Thon this Thursday at 10 am at the Y-intersection. Come out and do some spinning for a great cause! We are hoping to match last year’s event which raised over $5,000 for the Charity.

Prizes that will be awarded include Habs jersey or tickets, SnowJam Trip to Tremblant in January, and Bottle Service at Right To Party.
