Resignation of the Vice-President (Finance)

The Executive Team would like to announce that Alice Fang, the Vice-President (Finance), has submitted her resignation to the SSMU, effective from August 18, 2023. 

We would like to thank Alice for her hard work and immense dedication, and wish her much success in  her future endeavors.

We would like to reassure the membership that the responsibilities of the Vice-President (Finance) have temporarily been distributed amongst the executives. The SSMU continues to work alongside its employees to best serve students as the semester begins.

A motion calling for a by-election to fill the role of Vice-President (Finance) will be brought forward at the first session of the Legislative Council on September 11, 2023. We greatly encourage anyone interested in running for the position to reach out to get more information on this unique opportunity.
