Access to Grammarly and Udemy

Access to Grammarly and Udemy

Now that that title has hopefully caught your attention, good morning!

I have some brilliant news regarding access to Grammarly and Udemy for SSMU members. Late last week, we signed three-year contracts with both organisations. This will ensure continuity across your time at McGill.

Both of these services are paid out of the Student Support fee, which means that at the end of the opt-out period, those who remain opted in will receive an email with instructions on how to use Grammarly and Udemy.

This is a new contract directly with Grammarly and Udemy and is managed by the SSMU’s Systems Administrator. Please be patient as we get this first year up and running! We aim to have all interested accounts open within three weeks, with no gaps after the initial account opening, as long as you remain opted-in to the Student Support Fee.

Some of you may also be wondering about Calm. I have personally contacted them several times and am still waiting to receive a response. If you know of potential replacements for Calm, please don’t hesitate to email me with your suggestions, as we’re currently looking for another platform that can take its place.

If you have any questions or concerns, as always, please reach out to me at president@ssmu.ca

Cheers!
