The Student Club for Animal Liberation and Ethics, SCALE, is a vegan club that organizes projects, in-person events, and social media campaigns. The club’s primary goal is to inform the McGill and Montreal communities and help lessen their impact on the cycle of animal exploitation and objectification perpetuated by industries such as the food and clothing sectors. Additionally, the club seeks to foster a community for vegans and vegetarians at McGill and in Montreal, while also serving as a resource for those interested in animal rights and activism.
