The SSMU Building is visited by thousands of people each year and is one of campus’s best spots to eat, gather, and let loose. Inside you’ll can find campus clubs, SSMU services, a cafeteria, a restaurant, a legal information clinic, a smoothie bar, a student lounge (with couches!), and more.
On March 14th, 2018, the SSMU has acquired the building located at 3501 Peel Street. For the moment, some of the spaces are used by certains SSMU club and services, Mini Courses and external groups.

The parking that is situated beside the University Centre is used for delivery and emergencies vehicles only. If you would like to visit the University Centre by car we recommend that you park on Peel Street.
Directions to the University Centre
Take Sherbrooke Street until McTavish Street. The University Centre (3480 McTavish Street) and the Brown Building (3600 McTavish Street) are situated on the left side of the street, just before the road bends to the right at the foot of the staircase leading to Dr. Penfield Street. Please note McTavish street is pedestrian only.
Directions to the SSMU Office
Our offices are located on the main floor of the University Centre at the end of the corridor linking both the Brown Building and the University Centre.
If you enter the University Centre via the main doors, turn right and go down the hall. We are located on the left, just before you reach the double doors.
If you enter via the Brown Building, descend the stairs to the left of the elevator. Pass through the double doors and the SSMU office is the first door on the right.
Directions for Delivery
All deliveries must be made via the parking lot next to the University Centre. You may access the parking lot via the alley between Peel and McTavish Streets.
