The 2026-2027 mosaic will include students graduating during the Summer 2026, Fall 2026 and Winter 2027 semesters.
The Class Mosaics for 2026-2027 include students graduating in Fall 2026 and Winter 2027. Photo sessions are available from September 2026 through May 2027.
Please note that the waiting list at the end of both semesters is longer and the spots are not guaranteed, so we recommend booking your session several months in advance.
Voltaic Studio is also open on Saturdays. Do not wait longer and book your session today!
For students graduating in Fall 2026:
We recommend that you have your photos taken before December 18, 2026.
Alternatively, you can book a session in the Winter semester before May 12, 2027, to ensure your inclusion in the 2026-2027 class mosaic in time for Spring convocation.
For students graduating in Winter 2027:
To appear in the 2026-2027 class mosaic for Spring convocation, your photo must be taken before May 12, 2027.
For students graduating in Summer 2027:
The studio remains open during the summer period at reduced hours; the last day to have your photo taken is July 15, 2027 if you want to be included in the 2027-2028 class mosaic.
1. Please visit the Voltaic website to secure your spot on the Class Mosaic.
Note: The online booking system displays availability only for the four weeks ahead. The studio opens more sessions for the following weeks as soon as those sessions are filled.
2. 24 hours before your session, you will receive the registration form by email to fill out. Complete it before you arrive at the studio and save your QR code!
3. Once at the studio, show us your registration card.
A sitting fee of $13.50 + taxes must be paid when reserving the session via the online interface.
At the end of the session, it will be possible to pre-order the 4 poses in digital form to be available for download within 10 working days.

Reporting an issue with Voltaic Studio
We hope that your experience with our services meets and exceeds your expectations. However, if you encounter any issues with Voltaic, our service provider, please don’t hesitate to contact us at commsmanager@ssmu.ca.
1. When can I start having my photo taken?
Answer: Photo sessions are open all year round. Please note that the deadline to appear in the 2026-2027 class mosaic in time for Spring Convocation is May 12, 20212. The deadline to appear on the final version of the 2026-2027 class mosaic is June 30, 2027.
2. Where can I find the price list?
Answer: Answer: The sitting fee is $15 (taxes included). The prices for 2026-2027 can be found on this link.
3. I am not in Montreal to have my photo taken. Is there any solution to be included in the class mosaic?
Answer: Yes, please contact the studio at info@voltaic.ca to discuss options. Additional fees may apply.
4. I want to book my session for the following month, but no slots are available.
Answer: Please make sure to book your session ahead of time. Sessions are open only one month in advance and can be hard to find as we approach the May 12, 2027 deadline.
5. When will the class mosaics be ready?
Answer: The digital versions of the class mosaics 2026-2027 will be published on June 1, 2027, on the SSMU website (ssmu.ca). Print mosaics will be available for purchase on July 16, 2027. Orders are available by request only, and additional costs apply.
6. What happens if there is a mistake on the class mosaic?
Answer: We will collect corrections via a form allows you to submit corrections. Please contact the studio at info@voltaic.ca if you have any questions.
7. What happens if I miss the May 12, 2027 deadline?
Answer: If you have your picture taken before 30June 2027, it will be available on the final mosaic on July 15, 2027.
8. Can I take a photo of my graduation with my friends?
Answer: Yes, you can book a group picture by contacting the studio at info@voltaic.ca. Additional costs will apply:
2 people: Free
3 people: 10$ + tx per picture
4 people: 20$ + tx per picture
For larger groups of 5 or more people, please use the Group Session reservation option on Voltaic’s website.
Digital mosaics
This digital version is available for FREE as part of the sitting fee. They will be available on this page on the first day of convocation.
Printed mosaics
The print size of the mosaic is 11×14.
