The one day conference features three major plenary sessions (an opening keynote address, a luncheon speech and a closing integrating plenary).  Three concurrent round tables, in the morning and in the afternoon, will attempt to identify lessons from the Canadian Model and reach conclusions to be discussed in the closing plenary. And a prestigious cocktail reception will topoff the event.

The 2008 Crisis has revealed severe flaws in the Global System. Stock prices have gone up, but not employment. Corporate profits are soaring while huge government deficits burden the economy. There is no clearpicture of what lies ahead. Yet some countries have weathered the storm better than others.  This key event will bring together more than thirty experts, who have been  the architects of the Canadian Model, in their capacity as private and public  sector leaders, academics and civil society representatives.
