Hi All,
First and foremost, apologies for the array of emails being sent out this week.
This is a correction on how to get access to Grammarly and Udemy if you had opted out of the SSMU Student Support Fee and would like to opt back in.
Fair warning: Access is not immediate. It will take approximately two weeks for everyone to be added. Thank you for your patience.
SSMU Student Support Fee
If you opted out and want to opt back in to access both Grammarly and Udemy, you must fill out this form. Please note that this is for McGill Undergraduate and Professional students only and will close on Wednesday, October 16th at 12 p.m.
Message from Student Accounts:
E-bills are static and never change, we simply issue a new e-bill once a month. To see your current balance, please look at your Account Summary by Term in Minerva. If you click on Fall 2024, and scroll to the bottom, you will see a negative payment amount with the description “SSMU Student Support Opt-Out”. Depending on the timing of the information transfer from the SSMU to Student Accounts, the change will be indicated on your October 2024 or November 2024 e-bill. Simply pay your e-bill balance per usual.
Note: Remember to stay opted in by January for Winter 2025, or you’ll lose access.
Enjoy your access, and if there’s anything you’d like to see in the future, remember to contact your Faculty SSMU representative!
If you have questions, email me. (You can always stop by the office too. Chatting in-person is surprisingly much more enjoyable than via email)
Sorry for the abundant emails!
Cheers,
Dymetri Taylor
