Why this plebiscite?
Later this semester, there will be a Special Referendum with proposed amendments to the Constitution of the Students’ Society of McGill University (S.S.M.U.). This plebiscite seeks feedback on the proposed amendments. Please see them linked here.

What’s on the ballot?
Q1. Which body should serve as the Society’s highest governing authority? (Board of Directors, Legislative Council, Executive Committee)
Q2. What do you believe should be the quorum for a Student Strike? (Ranked preference – 50%, 40%, 30%, 20%, 15%)
Q3. Open feedback on constitutional reform

The Constitution is the foundation of the SSMU and now’s your chance to have a say on governance processes of your student union.
