Each year, the SSMU has over $250,000 available to help student groups achieve their goals – be it running a successful fundraiser, attending a conference or just hosting that really cool party. To help disburse these funds in the best manner possible, the SSMU Funding Committee is looking for Members-at-Large!
There are no strict requirements – just a commitment to fairness and impartiality – and anyone interested (you don’t have to be in Management!) is encouraged to apply! If you are interested, please send a short blurb to the Funding Coordinator at fundcom@ssmu.mcgill.ca explaining why you want to join and why you think you’ll be a great Committee member by this Saturday, September 26th at 6 PM. Also feel free to email if you would like more information about joining or even just funding in general.
