Results of Referendum Regarding Removal of President Taylor

Following the approval of the Motion Regarding Removal of President Taylor at the Special General Assembly held December 5th 2024, a referendum was held for all SSMU members to vote on the removal of President Taylor. This referendum was open from December 9th to December 16th at 5 PM and surpassed the minimum quorum of 10% of SSMU members with a total of 4160 votes (16.9%).

The results were:

58.6% no, 41.4% yes (8.4% abstained).

With a majority no vote, this referendum did not pass. President Taylor remains in his position.
