In Honor of Black History Month,
The East to West Bake Sale will be taking place in the McConnell Engineering Building’s hallway on Thursday, February 27th from 10:00AM to 4:00PM.
Pass by for some African and Diasporan (ex: Caribbean, African American, etc.) goodies to help us raise money for the Montreal Children’s Hospital Foundation’s Lire/Imagine/Read program. So far on the menu, we have authentic Haitian treats to be made by the VP Internal herself. More to come!
To sign up as a volunteer, it is necessary to fill out the form below . The deadline is Friday, February 21st at 11:59PM. The actual date we would be baking would be February 26th, the night before, but attendance is not mandatory. Both sweet and salty (savory) goodies are accepted but it has to be suitable for a table sale (i.e. soup is not the best choice, or anything that is easily spill-able or needs to stay hot for that matter) and per SSMU guidelines, which are based on MAPAQ guidelines.
