The SSMU is hosting Open Forum Discussions at the remaining meetings of the SSMU Legislative Council for 2011!
What does that mean, you say? It means that at 6 PM, every second Thursday for the rest of the year, Legislative Council meetings will begin with a 30 minute discussion on a predetermined topic! We are looking for YOU to come out and share your opinions on these important and current issues! March 3, 2011: You want the truth? You can’t handle the truth! A forum on the SRI (Strategic Reframing Initiative), the future of McGIll University and student consultation; March 17, 2011: Money Matters: Tuition, ancillary fees, and the future of post-secondary education; March 31, 2011: Food and the Environment: A discussion on campus food options, local food sources and the Montreal Community, and more; April 7, 2011: Go Martlets/Redmen Go! A discussion on school spirit, extra-curricular activities and community-building.
